Born and raised in Poland, Maja moved to the Adirondacks after spending summers on Brant Lake working as a college student at a local camp.  She was immediately drawn to the area, as it reminded her of her hometown in Poland surrounded by beautiful mountains.  Maja has lived in the Southern Adirondacks for nearly 20 years, and every time she explores the mountains and lakes, she discovers new things and feels grateful to live & work in such a beautiful place.  Having a degree in Slavonic languages, and moving to Chestertown, NY Maja was forced to rethink the  next chapter of her life. Maja’s background is in payroll and finance, so it made sense to go back to school for Business & Accounting where she is putting her experience to work at North Warren Central School in the Business Office.

In the winter, Maja spends every weekend at Gore Mountain as a Ski Instructor.  She loves sharing her passion for all four seasons of fun with her students, skiers & boarders who visit the Adirondacks.  Maja’s husband Dave (who also works at North Warren) and their two teenage daughters enjoy outdoor adventure year round; kayaking, hiking, skiing, & snowmobiling. They have two Golden Retrievers who often join them on their adventures!  Maja is energetic, professional and her smile can light up a room! She’s very excited to be joining Gallo Realty ADK, as she was attracted to the Real Estate world after working closely with Angie selling their first home, and buying their the spot for our “forever” home.
