Walt Swartz

Prior to my career as a real estate broker, I worked in the construction field for twenty plus years.  I worked as a carpenter, project manager, building designer, and general manager for a local construction company during this time-period. My degree in Applied Sciences and Mechanical Technology has allowed me to serve as an Architectural Designer as well. I was head of the design division of the construction company for 9+ years helping clients create or redesign spaces to fit their needs. The job involved handling all aspects of planning for additions, remodels, new homes as well as light commercial buildings.  I have a strong knowledge of all regional building codes, septic systems, and zoning requirements, as well as broad experience with local contractors and home products, fixtures, and house systems.

A native of western Pennsylvania, I chose to raise my family in the Adirondacks.  This area is truly like no other, with ‘easy’ access to the highway and downstate events, while offering seclusion and privacy with just a quick drive or hike. My wife teaches locally, and my four children keep us very busy with their activities in and out of school. We love to hike, fish, camp and explore all that the beautiful Adirondacks have to offer.

Our area and our Gallo team has so much to offer!
